Michael & Nancy Rogers founded Securityhunter Inc., originally named Dependable Alarm Systems, in 1988. As subject matter experts in access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems, Mr. Rogers achieved a nationwide reputation in the art of covert video investigation.

Nancy Rogers received her Masters at Johns Hopkins University and her Bachelor Degrees at the University of Maryland and Cornell University.

Michael Rogers received an MBA at New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelors of Science at Cornell University.

As veteran entrepreneurs, the Rogers transformed a residential alarm company into a rapidly growing electronic security and consulting services firm serving federal and local governments and Fortune 100 companies. Today the company is a SBA woman owned small business.

In the 1990s, the company first attracted federal government and national commercial clients when with the introduction of ISS supervision, a remote video transmission system using analog telephone transmission.

In 2001, the company expanded by offering electronic security expertise and products to government clients through a GSA contractor’s schedule. This allowed the company the competitive advantage to bid for government projects using the Government Services Administration’s procurement vehicle, GSA Advantage.

The Rogers offer a personal approach one of the many benefits of running a successful private company. Both are personally driven to offer value-added security solutions while building long lasting client relationships.

ogers , a member of ASIS International since 1983 is certified as a Physical Security Professional, PSP and a Certified Protection Professional, CPP. ASIS has more than 33,000 members, is the largest international organization for professionals responsible for security. He is also a member of Vistage International, an organization that helps companies a ccelerate their business growth through a worldwide network of more than 12,000 progressive and practiced executives.

Michael Schaum, Program Manager
Securityhunter Security Suppport Services

rogram Manager, Michael Shaum is responsible for the Security Support Services Division of Securityhunter Inc. The Security Support Services Division provides comprehensive security consulting to U.S. Government clients.

Prior to joining Securityhunter, Schaum was Senior Security Manager For Digex, the nation’s second largest web hosting company. There, he was primarily responsible for security at 16 sites in the U.S., Great Britain, and Japan. Previous experience includes; Information Security Analyst at CitiFinancial and the Director offacility and security management with Giant Food Corporation.

Shaum offers an arsenal of technical expertise to the team providing valuable critical security assessment processing. His tenure in the IT and Facility Security industry is an asset to our company and clients alike. Schaum works as a liaison to the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative providing comprehensive vulnerability & risk assessments, SOWs and independent government cost estimates while supporting contractor negotiations and project timelines.

Presently, Schaum acts as the Program Manager for the ARS Electronic Security Countermeasure Program and reports to the acting Director of Homeland Security at the USDA. Schaum supports Homeland Security initiatives at present to assess and secure agricultural research facilities nationwide.

 

 





 

Gary P. Seiler, General Manager

eneral Manager, Gary Seiler is responsible for Securityhunter’s Integration Division. With more than 15 years of experience in the security business Seiler is a subject matter expert in access control, video surveillance systems, locks and intrusion detection systems.

Seiler, a master carpenter by trade is an accomplished commercial and residential facilities construction contractor. This technical understanding of structural engineering elements is a value added asset when designing integrated security systems for a multitude of facilities. Prior to joining Securityhunter, Seiler was theSenior Vice President in charge of operations at Skilcraft Security Equipment.  Primarily focused on video surveillance, intrusion detection-alarms and access control, he was responsible for 1,000 clients in the Mid-Atlantic market comprised of mostly financial institutions.

As general manager, Seiler is focused on Securityhunter’s mission and objectives. He is extremely client focused, and provides a high level of expertise and support to meet client’s most critical security needs. Seiler is at the forefront of our client’s initial security analysis, actively pursuing and configuring the optimal technology required implementing the most appropriate security countermeasures.

Mr. Seiler is also a member of Vistage International and ASIS. Leadership growth is critical to Securityhunter’s growth in both federal and corporate markets and Seiler
