Securing our nation one facility at a time!”

Securityhunter's technical expertise within the industry offers clients comprehensive security solutions. Whether your facility is seeking Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, or Emergency Phone Systems, Securityhunter's integration team is focused on meeting your needs and integrating multiple sub-systems to provide a complete security solution.

Video Surveillance Systems

Since 1988, Securityhunter has designed and installed video surveillance systems, a.k.a., CCTV with special expertise installing; wireless video transmission systems, video over LAN, WAN and internet, large matrix-based video systems, low light video, video over in-house phone wiring, video over analog and ISDN phone line, digital storage of video, fiber optic video transmission system, and assessment and troubleshooting of recorders, monitors and cameras.

Leading electronic video manufacturers including Pelco, Sony, GE and Phillips certify our in-house security technicians and design engineers. Technical engineers keep current with the latest technologies including video analytics. We have designed and installed closed circuit television systems for commercial and government customers nationwide. Current video systems include projects at the following military bases: Fort Bragg, West Point Military Academy, Bolling AFB, and the Bethesda National Naval Center.

Access Control System Design and Installation

Securityhunter has designed and installed electronic entry control systems, also known as access control, since 1992. Our access control expertise includes integration of video and access control, gate control integration, retrofitting proprietary and/or antiquated systems, photo ID card badges, networking over LAN, WAN or dial-up modem connection, remote monitoring and access to the system, database conversion for seamless takeovers, wireless data transmissions, and biometrics including fingerprint and hand geometry.

Securityhunter provides clients with the leading access control equipment manufacturers including AMAG, Keyscan, and Ingersoll-Rand. Through our teaming partners, Securityhunter is also capable of supporting Lenel, Software House and GE/CASI access control solutions. Our senior security technicians are certified by leading manufacturers. We have designed and installed access control systems in 24 cities across the country.

Intrusion Detection System Design and Installation

Having designed and installed alarm systems for private and commercial clients since 1988, the integration division expanded in 2000 to include perimeter-fencing systems at federal department of defense bases nationwide. One such example is an electronic fencing system installed for the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Data Transmission System Design and Installation

Securityhunter has extensive technical experience providing clients with a variety of data transmission systems utilizing fiber optic media (single and multi-modes), copper wires (POTS, ISDN, DSL, T-1), and wireless communications (directional and omni-directional). Our core expertise includes: alarm data transmission; multi-channel video over POTS; video and access control over local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN); wireless LAN and WAN for video, audio and data and spectrum analysis.

Critical Condition Monitoring System Design and Installation

A robust integrated access control system may include dedicated monitoring of various environmental conditions that can affect your products or equipment. Losing product or business systems due to temperature fluctuations or water damage can adversely affect an organization. Our systems notify clients if an environmental condition is out of your acceptable range of conditions such as temperature or moisture levels. Securityhunter designed and installed a centrally managed 24 city networked biometric access control temperature monitoring system that includes temperature sensors and humidity sensors.

Site Evaluation and System Design

Initial site surveys assess a client’s needs, providing our engineers with the specifications needed to design solutions tailored to meet the client’s security objectives. Site evaluations include a physical survey of assets to be protected, an analysis of existing electronic security measures and supporting infrastructure, along with an overall environmental threat assessment.

Securityhunter takes a team approach in analyzing a client’s site survey and initial security priorities. Each project analysis is coordinated with in-house technical engineers to propose a tailored comprehensive solution. Statements of work are prepared proposing the most technologically advanced solution and incorporate time, material and service agreement specifications.

Securityhunter’s technical engineers and security technicians keep abreast of the latest technology, evaluating the pros and cons of the industry’s many system alternatives. This enables us to design the most appropriate systems for our clients. Our company’s 20 year history of delivering electronic security system technical expertise will provide a valuable resource to you when your commercial or government facilities are secured with Securityhunter products and services.

Project Management-System Installation & Training

Securityhunter’s integrated system logistics are coordinated by an assigned project manager. Project managers provide direct supervision to security technicians assigned to the contract and facilitate as a liaison between the client and Securityhunter’s senior management team. Project status meetings and reports are generated to communicate completion of work throughout the life of the project/contract. For government contracts, the Project Manager provides data to the C.O.T.R. (contracting officer’s technical representative). On-site training is coordinated by the Project Manager to familiarize the client and or end users with newly installed system technology.

Service & Maintenance Agreements

Securityhunter clients are offered service and maintenance plans that support every system we install. We also offer ongoing technical support services to maintain and repair electronic equipment and parts in an effort to maintain the integrity of your existing security system.
