Securityhunter, Inc., selects Antonio Barrera Marin as Employee of the Year
Every year since 2017, Securityhunter has selected an Employee of the Year. This award recognizes and celebrates employees whose performance far exceeds expectations. Recipients consistently display a positive attitude and are team players who are dependable and exercise initiative in the workplace.
The Employee of the Year receives a plaque, an assigned parking space with personal signage and a financial award. This year, Antonio Barrera Marin is the recipient of this honor. Antonio joined the Securityhunter Team in 2014 as a laborer and soon worked his way to his current position as Installation Technician. A carpenter by trade, Antonio was instrumental in the interior build-up of our current space and when he’s not traveling as an installation technician, still completes much needed projects around the building. When asked how he felt about being selected as the Employee of the Year, Antonio said, “I am honored to be the Employee of the Year. When I started working at Securityhunter as a day laborer, I knew Securityhunter was a good place to work. I learned if opportunity doesn’t knock, I should build a door and that’s what I did. I worked like I was already hired and when the opportunity came, my door was already there and I walked in.”
Ross Nelson, Executive Director, says, “This is well deserved, Antonio has been an extremely valuable asset to this company for some time now”. Antonio’s supervisor, Patricia Feurer, added, “Antonio is a hard worker who is very well respected and is always willing to do whatever is needed – we are very fortunate to have him as an integral part of the Securityhunter team.”. “This is the second time in our company history that the recipient is a first generation American. Antonio is a real asset to us as well as our nation and I expect continued success from this outstanding individual” remarks Founder and Chairman of the Board, Michael S. Rogers.
