Securityhunter, Inc. is one of five (5) Federal Contractors awarded GSA Multiple Award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Department of Physical Security Management.
The contract supports Comprehensive Security Services to Support the Continued Full Life Cycle of NIH Physical Security Systems. When asked about the accomplishment, Founder and Chairman of the Board, Michael S. Rogers stated, “The National Institutes of Health is the crown jewel of the American science community. Being chosen to help protect them is a wonderful honor. We’re looking forward to introducing them to some of the latest technologies that Securityhunter has to offer”.
The Division of Physical Security Management (DPMS) was established to ensure that physical and engineering security initiatives at all NIH facilities work in concert with the NIH operational security program to provide the most secure environment possible for the NIH. DPMS’s resources develop, review and manage the physical security requirements at all NIH facilities and conduct security assessments and review the proposed new construction and renovation projects for security concerns The NIH BPA was awarded against Securityhunter’s GSA Schedule 84 Contract which provides “Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facility Management Systems. It also includes criminal investigative equipment and supplies, closed circuit surveillance systems, security convergence solutions, alarm and signal systems, and facility management systems.”
