Mrs. Eileen Rogers, former Board of Directors member and mother of Founder and Chairman of the Board, Michael S. Rogers, passed May 7, 2025, after an extended illness. Mrs. Rogers, also known as the Queen Mother, played a major role in the early stages of Securityhunter. Born in New York, New York, Mrs. Rogers attended school and graduated with honors. She later obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work and worked for the New York juvenile system helping to place troubled youth in homes and in needed programs.
The Queen Mother loved to sing, write stories and poetry, play poker, and spend time with family. A devout member of the Jewish Community, she faithfully attended the Orangetown Jewish Center (OJC) and only missed services when her health kept her from attending. She was passionate about supporting the Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization, an organization that empowers women to find innovative ways to connect, advocate and become powerful leaders, and the Hebrew Free Burial Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the principle that every Jewish person is entitled to a Jewish Burial.
As part of the Securityhunter family, whenever the Queen Mother visited the company, she would sit and chat with employees, getting to know them on a personal level. She would often call the office to speak with employees and thank them for their work – which was appreciated by the receiver of the call.
The Queen Mother is the daughter of Jack and Jean Lavin; sister of Stanley Lavin; wife of Barnett Rogers; mother of Evan D. Rogers and Michael S. Rogers; grandmother of Alana Eiseman, Stacy Rogers, Corey Rogers, Mark Rogers, Amber Frantz, Matthew Rogers; great-grandmother of Emilia Eiseman, Lina Miller, Sophie Eiseman, Owen Rogers, and Orion Miller.
Though the Queen Mother has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love, faith, and joy, that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours.
May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
